For the last six to seven years I have been exploring the possibilities in 3D software and games engines to improve environmental analysis and the potential to optimise sustainable infrastructure; from renewable energy installations to connected gardens.
For the last couple of years I have focused on the capabilities of an open source software, Blender 3D. Since May 2022 I have pushed my learning with a project to record architectural details and motifs associated with the Pays Basque, an area of France I am lucky to live in.
It is a project that connects to the local community as well as further afield in order to build meaningful relationships and share experience and skills for sustainable solutions.
